Colburn and Co. Publishers, 1852. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1852. No Edition Remarks. 272 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with decorations. Black and white illustrated plates throughout. Medium cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting, middle pages are loose. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Tape marks to endpapers and pastedown. Tears to some pages, text remains readable. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Spine detached from front board. Staining overall.
