Trianon Press Facsimiles for the William Blake Trust. Paris. 1959. First Edition Thus. Special Publisher's copy, signed with "Special publishers copy" in his own hand, by Arnold Fawcus, owner of the Trianon Press. Tall slim 4to. Salmon quarter morocco, gilt with gilt top-edge and hand-marbled paper covered boards in marbled paper-covered slipcase. Facsimile copy of the 1793 original edition, unpaginated on arches pure rag paper to match that used by Blake and watermarked with his monogram. Bibliographical statement to rear by Geoffrey Keynes. A couple of slight marks to leather at head of spine and to upper board o/w a very handsome copy in sl. worn slipcase. Near fine.
