From the edition limited to 446 numbered copies on Arches, with this one of 200 issued for distribution in the United States.'Visions of the Daughters of Albion', one of Blake's prophetic, visionary books was produced first - as per the title - in 1793 and is known in 16 extant examples. The present facsimile was produced from copy 'C', described by Bentley as having colour that 'is particularly clear and lovely', and was very likely produced between 1793 and 1795; copies were issued throughout Blake's life with the latest dating to 1821 - 1825.
