Edinburgh: John Ballatine and Co, 1811. Hardcover. Very good-. Second edition. 164 pp, in contemporary polished calf with gilt border and spine decoration, marbled endpapers. Front joint cracked, with board a bit wobbly bit still well attached, tiny chip to upper spine, foxing to one gathering that was apparently printed on inferior paper. Poems in addition to Don Roderick include the Palmer, the Maid of Niedpath, Wandering Willie, Hunting Song, the Violet, To a Lady, with Flowers from a Roman Wall, the Bard's Incantation, the Resolve, and Epitaph.
