Some spotting, owner's surname to f.e.p., jacket is near fine. The rear panel carries reviews for the author's previous thriller, likened to James Bond; "the tension... is something quite beyond poor 007". This copy is from the comprehensive Ian Fleming Bibliographical Archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled note and ownership to inside cover. His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography.
