Richmond: Peter Cottom, 1824. Second Edition. Full Leather. Good binding. Two large 8vo. volumes, in full legal calf; xxiv, [1] 2-522 including the Index, followed by [1] Addenda & Errata; xx, [1], 2-155, followed [1] Addenda & Errata.; with foxing throughout. The textblocks were split and are now repaired with japanese tissue; Vol. I is lacking spine label; there are old repairs with leather at the top and bottom of each binding. Name label to spine for a lawyer "Frank L. Crocker' and penned note on each pastedown that the firm "Godwin & Crocker" purchased the volumes in 1868.~~The bindings are not pretty, but they are secure and holding. Good binding.
