About This Item
New York: Simon and Schuster, 1975. First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine/Fine. Inscribed by Perelman to "Elizabeth" on the title page. A pair of pencil notations suggest the "Elizabeth" in question is Elizabeth Taylor, with whom Perelman worked on the glamour documentary Elizabeth Taylor's London (1963). The bookplate of director and producer George Cukor appears on the front pastedown. A collection of 22 short pieces from The New Yorker, Travel & Leisure, and other magazines, and Perelman's first since his return to New York after temporarily relocating to England. From the library of Emmy Award-winning screenwriter David Lloyd. Octavo. Original purple cloth binding, with silver and black titles. Just a hint of wear to the corners and tips; else a fine copy in a fine dust jacket.
