Bound in black cloth over black paper-covered boards, copper lettering on spine. In the illustrated dust jacket that has the $24.95 price intact on the front flap. Photo on dust jacket rear photo by Carl Studma. Signed by the author on the title page. A gleaming copy of the first printing of the first edition. Robbins explores the motives and international intrigue surrounding three American MIAs who choose to remain missing after the Vietnam War. Settings include Bangkok, San Francisco, Laos and Seattle, among others. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.

Synopsis

Bantam Doubleday Dell (US) and Random House (Australia) published Villa Incognito in April and June 2003, respectively. One of the most quoted lines from the book is the very first, setting the tone for this Tom Robbins adventure: "It has been reported that Tanuki fell from the sky using his scrotum as a parachute."
