Ronjat, b&w map 'Carte des Voyages de Cook' missing 1cm section along edge of map and page 35, now repaired, two portraits including 'Indigene de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud', all pages waterstained, original printed stiff wraps, missing lower cnr rear wrap, original stitching, spine reinforced with cloth, prev owner's inscr at top of front wrap, good condn. Rare first edition of James Cook's life and voyage published in Paris in 1881 for schools. Includes an engraving (Aboriginal of New South Wales) 1st edition. Stiff Wraps.
