1 Barkley & Hasson's Java Mixed Baltimore Brand Coffee trade card. Antique lithographed advertising card with charming girl wearing a yellow dress and apron, with a basket holding red boxes of coffee. She's wearing netted fingerless gloves and holding a flowering tree branch. The top left corner is chipped. Blank on the reverse; slight soiling/staining on the back. Measures 2 by 3.25 inches.
2 Centennial American Tea, Lynn Massachusetts - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. "A Quiet Nook in the Park." A man and woman snuggle on a twig bench, their horses and young boys watching; the man, with stereotyped Irish features, still carries a riding whip. "With Compliments of C.A. Tea Co., Lynn." Printed by Bufford's Sons. Advertising on back for Oolong Tea, 50 cents a pound, and Java coffee for 30 cents a pound. Measures 4.37 by 2.63 inches. Back yellowed from glue stains.
3 Great American Tea Company, New York City - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Sweet Victorian baby on the front. Advertising on the back: "Good News to All" with information about the china premiums the company gave away to customers - Moss Rose and Gold Band China Tea Sets - with orders of $40 and up. Card measures 3 by 4.25 inches. Light surface wear and chipping to top edge on face side. Back lightly yellowed with slight glue residue.
4 Great China & Pacific Tea. Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Charming fantasy design of children using a large egg shell as a boat, pulled by swans. Advertising on the back: "The Cup That Cheers But Not Inebriates. ... The Great China & Pacific Tea Co. ... South Boston [&] Charlestown. ... we are direct importers ... make no mistake as we are closely imitated by Mushroom concerns all over the country." Measures 5.63 by 4 inches. Light surface wear; corners chipped and creased. Back is yellowed with 2 pieces of tape in corner.

Illustration of a publication in the background, the "Standard Java Record," with a girl wearing a straw hat, and holding a kitten, bursting through the page. Advertising on the back for Chase & Sanborn, Boston, "Our famous coffees for sale by L.F. Jenks, Fine Teas and Coffees"; includes "Simple Rules for Making Coffee." Card measures 3 by 5 inches. Back is yellowed.

7 Mandarin Tea Co., Boston - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Illustration of girl in oriental robe with fan and flowers. Advertising on the back: "Mandarin Tea Company ... We are in receipt of our New Crop Teas, which arrived by Steamship City of Pekin ... Choice Formosa Oolong ... Mandarin Java Coffee, at 30 Cents per Pound." Card measures 2.75 by 4.5 inches. Slight surface wear.
8 Twitchell Champlin & Co., Dealers in Coffee & Tea, Portland. Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Oriental theme with pagoda, crane, frog hopping in pond. Printed by Bufford, Boston. Reverse is blank. Measures 3 by 5.25 inches. Top right corner chipped, light creasing. Back is yellowed and has spot with surface paper peeling.
9 Lion Coffee, Woolson Spice, Toledo, Ohio. Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Rose and lace trimmed umbrella picture. Advertising on the back: "Successful combination of Mocha, Java and Rio, roasted with the greatest care. Lion is the King of Coffees. Manufactured by Woolson Spice Co." Measures 5.87 by 4.27 inches. Light surface wear and creasing. Back lightly yellowed.
10 Coddington Ceylon Coffee - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. Embossed roses and a winter scene on the face side. Advertising on the back: "Use R. Coddington and Co's Ceylon Roasted Coffee. A Beautiful Picture Card with Every Pound Package." Card measures 4.25 by 6 inches. Light surface and edge wear; slight creasing along one edge.
11 Wood's Dutchess Coffee, Boston - Antique Lithographed Victorian Advertising Trade Card. "We present you in a figure a most delightful cup of Wood's Dutchess Coffee." Thomas Wood & Co., Importers and Roasters, Boston. Recipes for "Coffee Delicacies" on back: Coffee Jelly and Coffee Ice Cream. Measures 5 by 3.25 inches. Upper left corner lightly creased; back is yellowed.
12 Lion Coffee. Three children playing with a cart. Trimmed edges, short closed tear, paper/glue residue on decorated back, which could be cleaned with patience. This card came out of a scrap book from Canada. Measures 7 by 5 inches. Surface soil, edges chipped, paper and glue residue on back.
