Nicely illustrated with over 200 illustrations and 91 colored plates of book covers and bindings, the work describes in detail 752 books, with these fabulous bindings, the books covering various subject areas, from literature to travels. As well there is good introductory material, including of biographies of artists and binders, illustrations of bookbinders' tickets, etc. A picture of this book is available on request by email.
