About This Item
Venezia: Filippi Editore, 1984. Hardcover. 77p. (plates in photo-facsimile) with Indice at p.78. Find a brief "Presentazione" over Filippi's name to begin with which mentions Marco Sadeler's work (compilation?) in connection with this, and a previous dealer/owner's remarks in pencilled holograph on first free endsheet also mentioning Marco Sadeler; the item in hand may be pirated, the holograph is too sloppy to be sure. At any rate, expect medieval images of coastal towns besieged from the sea., it is nicely cased into oblong cocoa-brown cloth boards gilt-titled, gilt very rubbed, casing in good shape otherwise.
