BX6 - A first edition advance reading copy (ARC)/uncorrected proof book in very good condition with no dust jacket as issued (mass market paperback). An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in light purple wraps with very minor overall shelf wear with a patch of very light surface damage on the spine near its bottom edge plus there is some very light creasing on the back cover. The main characters are a divorced couple both working for the FBI. A serial killer kills the woman's daughter in order to get at her. The ex-husband is the one who actually finds the dead girl, and unknown to him, she is actually his daughter. The murder of her daughter breaks up her second marriage and she retreats from the world. Her ex-husband stays on the job though and comes to the conclusion that the killer, who has never been caught, is after the mother also. 352p.. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket as Issued. 4.25"x7". Advance Reading Copy (ARC).
