London : George Bell and Son, 1891. Cloth. Very Good. 8" by 5". None. A collection of poetry by Charles S Calverley. The new edition of this work. Charles Stuart Calverley was an English poet and wit. He is often seen as the literary father of the 'University School of Humour.' In a full cloth binding with gilt stamping to spine. Externally, generally smart with rubbing to the joints and to the head and tail of spine. A few marks to spine, which has faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned to edges with a few light spots to endpapers and the odd spot throughout. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
