Frontispiece engraving in each volume is foxed; other illustrations throughout are clean. Pages tanned with some evidence of reading wear (occasional finger smudge). Hinges cracked, binding shaken. Title page in volume 1 is nearly detached. Green cloth over boards has gilt lettering on spine. Edge wear, bumped corners, overall shelf wear. ; History of various Vermont regiments in the Civil War. ; Ex-Library; 9.25" tall; 1428 pages.
