Hugo Grotius was an early 17th-century Dutch jurist who is most remembered for his contributions to the foundation of international and natural law. He also made provided groundwork in Arminianism and is considered and 'economic theologist'. In addition to his most famous work 'De Jure Belli', Grotius published a treatise outlining the truths of Christianity – 'De veritate religionis Christianae'. In this book, Grotius argued that Christianity was the supreme truth over all religions.
