About This Item
(London: Hodder and Stoughton: no date) Suggest 1930s (?) Pictorial boards pp. 232 (214 x 170 x about 46 mm thick). Illustrated by Dudley Ward and with Toy Pictures by Leo. L. Stead. The spectacular toy pictures reside in captioned pockets and comprise Little Boy, Owl, Frog, Squirrel, Goose, Skunk, Snowshoe Hare and Woodpecker; all are in colour and complete and in about fine order with their original stands, with the exception of Snowshoe Hare which has a repaired foot and is missing his ears. Childs biro scribble to both front and rear boards and a couple of marks to the front free endpaper; the scribble or doodlings on the boards do not impinge much on the pictures; external hinges rubbed; corners and edges of boards rubbed and in parts worn; internally in generally very good condition.
