About This Item
Minneapolis: Honeywell. 1st Facsimile Edition. Soft cover. Very Good. Facsimile produced by Honeywell Corporation, likely in 1963, when still based in Minneapolis, MN, printed by the Lund Press located there. Tall 8vo, printed wrappers, unpaginated (114pp). Facsimile of Michelson's watershed study - reproducing his notebook in his own hand- that was the first to measure the speed of light. In 1907, Michelson became the first American to win a Nobel Prize in the sciences. Covers moderately worn about edges. Laid-in is a 4-page brochure from Honeywell presenting the publication with biographical information about Michelson.
