Publisher's navy blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with tiny tear to one page repaired with old cellophane tape, in a Near Fine jacket with light foxing. An examination of ancient Indian culture and questions of Aryan influence and origins from an academic who spent many years in India writing and lecturing on the subject. At the time of this book's publication he lived in Portland, Oregon and was a visiting lecturer at University of Washington in Seattle. Uncommon.
