London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1973. 1st Edition. Black Boards. Very Good Minus/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 383pp. Illustrated with numerous b/w photographic plates. Perhaps the slightest of bumps to the head of the spine and light shelf wear to the tail of the spine. Light foxing to the fore edges and a small pale stain mark to the upper fore edges. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper not price clipped with a crease to the front inner flyleaf. A couple of tears of no more than 1.5 cm from the top edge of the front of the wrapper, now repaired with acid free archival tape to the reverse of the wrapper. Slight sunning along one edge of the wrapper. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
