New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1971. First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine/near fine. Octavo, 636pp., illustrated. A crisp, clean copy, near fine, with a previous owner's blindstamp to the front free endpaper. Spine and front board gilt evenly dulled, as usual. In a near fine dust jacket, just a tinge offset on the front panel, and with very thin bubbling to the original lamination on the back panel. Nice copy of this epic memoir by Johnson, often found a little more beat up. There is an illustrated printed sticker neatly applied to the half-title page, which reads, "This first edition was purchased at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library Austin, Texas.
