About This Item
This is a first edition of The Vanishing Point, the third novel by the Canadian writer W.O. Mitchell (1914-1998), best known for his famous book Who Has Seen the Wind.
It is a controversial novel about white-native relations; it is about a white teacher working on the Paradise Reserve in the Alberta foothills who must search for his prize pupil when she goes missing.
393 pages, brown cloth. The cover of this book is not in good shape. There is a mark to the side of the book and staining to the back endpaper, which you can remove if you like. Other than that, the book appears to have not been read and is in perfect condition.
