A new edition of a title first published in 1967, extolling in word and picture the allure of Cornwall and all things Cornish. Tipped on to front pastedown is a brief letter from du Maurier's secretary, apologizing for the writer's inability, due to poor health, to meet with the letter's recipients. Included is a second piece of du Maurier letterhead with a signed note from the writer for inclusion in this book. Which it is, tipped on to the front end paper. The note reads "With very best wishes/from/Daphne du Maurier./September 1982." Blue cloth w/gilt spine lettering, 208 pages (including bibliography), illustrated.
