Stain on both boards along bottom edges. Light wear to the corners. Text block pages are somewhat rippled due to moisture contact. Otherwise, the pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has a stain on the reverse side along the bottom edges and spine bottom paper thinned where it was stuck the book spine. Light rub wear. A social history of the people who made up Vancouver's three main mutual aid societies from 1904 to 1966: the Sons of Italy, the Veneta, and the Vancouver Italian-Canadian associations. Illustrated with black and white archival photographs. .
