Located on the Lake Michigan shore in southwest Michigan, Van Buren County was officially formed in 1837. This interesting history has historic photos on nearly every page, each with a lengthy caption. Contains a color end paper map and a lengthy index in the rear. Original white glossy publisher's covers with blue spine and cover lettering and color cover decoration. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket has a slight bit of wear to the top edge at the spine, else it is in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings. The edition is not stated--probably a first edition. ; B&W Photos; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 160 pages .
