Five poems relating to the war in the Pacific by the son in law of Theodore Roosevelt and a WWI veteran. This copy inscribed "For Bill & Cornelia (Evarts) with affectionate regards, Richard Derby, February 18, 1943"; The Evarts were family friends and Cornelia Landon Evarts was a old friend of both President and Mrs. Roosevelt.
