Philadelphia: The Westminster Press, 1943. Worn but sound first edition of this work of historical fiction set in the Connecticut River Valley. Green cloth printed in maroon, color illustrated dustjacket. Covers rubbed at the extremities with some light colored spotting, good hinges, sound text block, lightly age-toned but clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is age-darkened and has considerable rubbing, including some edge chips, darkened area from a clear tape repair inside the front panel, but fairly little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
