Trevelyan (1876-1962) Author, English Historian and Academic, with his signature and date of Feb. 24, 1904 on the half title page. x, [4],366pp, [2], 40pp, bound in black cloth with armorial shields in gilt, binding tight, complete with three plates, as called for. Covers show corner and edge wear with slight discoloration on the front cover where a paper label had been removed, front free endpaper detached, occasional interior marking, hinges cracked, occasional light foxing.
