London: Chatto & Windus, 1941 Poor Copy in Poor unclipped D/J. Jacket is chipped and worn around edges. Original blue cloth on boards has been discoloured by damp though boards are flat and there is only minor rubing to head/foot of spine. Discolouration has carried over to spine though pink title is still ledible. End papers, early folios and end folios have some light staining at top portion though text is clean and flat. Gatherings are sound. Includes b/w plates. Scarce
