The edges of the covers and spine are very moderately rubbed and bumped, and there is a previous owner's name on the front pastedown. With the fold-out map at p. 285. The Far West and Rockies Historical Series 1820-1875, volume eight. A story of the Utah Expedition, the reactions arising from it, the Mormon means of resistance, and the heroic efforts that, in the end, brought reconciliation.
