Boston: Houghton Mifflin, no date (1924-25). Softcover.. Octavo, pp (2), 86. White wrappers printed in red & brown. Publisher's "with compliments" slip tipped in at front and publisher's post card tipped in at rear. Light soiling, small spots to covers; foxing inside covers and to adjacent leaves; else a VG copy, no chips, tears, or creases. Contains the first of seven stories from Sabatini's THE BANNER OF THE BULL (1915), and the title page uses that title. Issued for promotional purposes for the Definitive Edition of Sabatini's works. The rear cover lists the first 15 volumes, with other volumes to be added from time to time. There was a 29 volume set issued 1924-31, and the latest title advertised on the rear cover is THE CAROLINIAN (1925), so we would date this piece as 1924-25. A very decent copy of a vulnerable and scarce piece. Note: lighter parcel, any default postage rate may be reduced. .
