Approximately 200 x 130 mm, 8 x 5¼ inches, portrait frontispiece of Urbain Jurgensen, 15 illustrations in the text, 48 pages, the last page advertising other books, original publisher's dark green pebbled card covers with title mounted on upper cover, number 294 printed on the back of title page. Slight fading to spine, front and rear endpapers age-browned, 2 previous booksellers' small labels at foot inside front cover, (Hadfield & Garner) otherwise a very good copy.
