Derrydale Press. 1993. 12mo, 18cm, 367p., limited to 2500 copies, numerous full page illustrations, bound in full dark blue faux morocco, gilt titles and boards with fly decorations on the corners and an oval colour illustration on the upper cover, all edges gilt, matched marbled endpapers, former owner's largest bookplate on the front endpaper and his embossing stamp on the title page, otherwise a fine copy. (Spg). Walden lived in Nova Scotia, memoirs of fishing in northern USA and Canada; a Nova Scotia witer on fishing , Walden died at 84. Mr. Walden wrote ''Upstream and Down,'' ''Angler's Choice: An Anthology of American Trout-Fishing'' and ''Deep Pool.'' His stories were included with those by Izaak Walton, Henry David Thoreau and Ernest Hemingway in collections about fishing.
