Front and rear (map) paste-downs. Signed by author on title page. Unclipped ($7.95) jacket shows shelf wear, especially on top and bottom of spine and two small tears without paper loss on top of front. Jacket protected with removable mylar cover. Starting with her marriage in 1870, this is the true account of the life of Sarah Ann Donnelly. As stated, "this is a well-researched and, on the whole, typical account of pioneer life on the western (Kansas) plains." The book is in the best tradition of a Willa Cather story in Nebraska. 6x8.5 in. 213 pg.
