Chip at the crown, and edgewear on the spine, very good lacking the dustwrapper. African-American title for juvenile, highlighting notable blacks who succeeded despite formidable odds including Ernest Everett Just, Paul Robeson, Richard Wright, Charles Richard Drew, Mordecai W. Johnson, and Emma Clarissa Clement. Very scarce.
