cat40a. London: Hugh Rees, 1918. First edition. Green cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Very light rubbing, a nice bright copy. Inscribed from Katherine Wedgwood. A brief introduction indicates that the author was killed in the Great War, and these are his stories published posthumously by his widow. Printed for private circulation. Short stories and one play. One story concerns Paraguay, several others are short fantasies. Oppolongo John is about an imp incarnated in a newborn baby.
