Soiling and fading on the spine, a few soil spots on the boards, substantial foxing on the edges and endpapers. Binding stressed after the first signature, but holding up. The jacket edges and spine ends are worn with chipping and small creases, spine faded, generally foxed. Warm author's inscription on the front free endpaper.
