Author states in Preface that ". . .it is entirely owing to Swedenborgian influences and sympathies that this treatise has been written. . .The present volume. . .is merely a resume of thoughts and ideas by one who has, by brief contact, so to speak, 'touched the hem' of his faith." Moderate-to-heavy rubbing of cover extremities; light rubbing to boards. Prior owner name on front endpaper; endpapers and half-title page faintly foxed; otherwise clean and tight.
