About This Item
Oakland: SEIU, Locals 250-535-616, AFL-CIO, 1979. Broadside. Five legal-size notices, 14x8.5 inches on parti-colored construction paper, presswork reproduces keyboard-set texts with tiny maps and cartoons, each on a different color of stock, all folded together with lower-margin edgewear, toning and dust-soil. No duplications. Find notices dated July 18, Aug 22/23, Sept 5, Sept 26, plus an undated "SEIU Song Sheet" with lyrics for two musical protests: "The County Workers' Fight Song" [I'm not going to be your doormat anymore] and "I've Been Working for the County" [to tune of ..on the Railroad]. The packet is not fastened but per a shared transverse crease, obviously belong together. Good clean copies except for the lower-margin damage mentioned above.
