The privately printed Word War I record of the Union-Castle Line, whose ships provided invaluable service as transports, troopships, hospital ships, and armed merchant convoys, including a complete ‘Roll of Honour’ of seamen lost. A virtually mint copy of this very handsomely produced volume, without dust jacket, as issued; recently deaccessioned from the library of the New York Yacht Club, with the club’s stunning vintage bookplate on the front pastedown, along with a discreet Case and Shelf notation. No other markings.
