About This Item
London: Victor Gollancz, 1980. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or signatures. The dark blue covers are fresh. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not corner clipped, and is also in excellent condition, with light wear at tips and corners, but no rips, damage or fading. A very nice copy. Synopsis: " A multinational expedition has landed from their orbiting starship Heavensbridge, on the planet Onogoro, a cold and dour world... Their objective is to investigate a strange alien race, known to human visitors as the Kybers," who dwell in a great network of ruined palaces, and are partly biological and partly machine.
