Edwin Megargee, Jr., original pictorial black cloth front stamped in dark yellow and silver, spine in dark yellow. Collection of short stories based on actual cases related to the author from the Department of Justice, Bureau of Investigation files, though the main character Special Agent Billy Gard is fictional. The author, in his five-page introduction, covers the establishment DOJ's Bureau of Investigation (the direct forerunner of the FBI), how real agents differ from fiction and how they operate.
