London: Hutchinson & Co., 1896. First edition. . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. A beautifully designed book with pictorial title page, and ghostly figure carrying a lamp on front board. No date, except for "October, 1896" dated on dedication page. Endpaper were made of fragile page, with front blank missing and rear free endpaper chipped at corners. Rest of book made with a better quality paper. Textblock a bit shaken, but holding. Cover worn. Collects six ghostly tales.
