Scarce treatise on the sociology of nationalism, containing studies of the rise of nationalism and independence movements among the Sorbs, in Belgium, Finland, Ireland, and elsewhere. Ol'gerd-Ippolit Bochkovs'kyi (1885-1939) was a Ukrainian diplomat, scholar, and journalist originally from Kherson Gubernia. He settled in Prague before World War I and began studying the small nations movements, inspired among others by T. G. Masaryk.
