Tokyo: Taihokaku Shobo Press, 1932. Hardcover. Very Good/None. Two volumes, Original printing with the subtitle: Old documents concerning human life instincts and emotions as interpreted by Japanese Artists, in the eighteenth and earlier part of the nineteenth centuries. Japanese text with English romanization and some translated titles. Many illustrations, four to a page, of Shunga volumes. Volume 1 with 39 pages text being a catalog of books and 77 pages illustrations and volume 2 with 37 pages of text being a catalog of books and 83 pages of illustrations. Very good condition with slight soiling to covers. Scarce reference title about Japanese illustrated books.
