Berlin, Germany: Juilus Springer, 1925. Hardcover. Very Good. Berlin: Julius Springer, 1925. 3rd edition "Dritte Unveranderte Auflage". A handsome copy bound, marbled paper over boards, black linen spine with title and author in gilt. Bookplate of the Technische Hochschule Wien, with it's stamp on several pages. Stamp of "Ausgeschieden von der Universitatsbibliothek der Technischen Universitat Wien" on title page. Combining Rutherford's description of the nucleus and Planck's theory about quanta, Bohr explained what happens inside an atom and developed a picture of atomic structure. This work earned him a Nobel Prize in 1922.
