"Dear Noverre: I fully intended to write you before Christmas.we have been very busy getting into place at Taliesin West. . .the Desert takes a terrific toll each year while we are gone. . . We have a very large group together this year - about sixty in all and including Egyptians, Italians, Germans, French, South American, China, Japan, Hawaii, England, Ceylon, South Africa. . .India, Norway, Palestine, Holland - that the Americans are almost out numbered. . . And there is a lot of work - about sixty houses and buildings - all on the boards however. . .the Johnson Research Tower. . .and the Friedman house in New Mexico. . . We are anticipating the forthcoming solo Forum - January issue - slightly disappointed because there will be no color as we had hoped. . .
