About This Item
Longman; London; 1970. First edition. Hardcover with dustjacket. Glossy color-illustrated boards, 11 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches, unpaginated, wonderful early Steadman illustrations. Book very good plus (previous owner's name, front pastedown, previously obliterated with black ballpoint pen over an area measuring 2 3/4 x 2 inches; slight edgewear; slight foxing; otherwise, clean, tight and square). Dustcover very good (moderate edgewear; few short closed tears, the longest 11/16 inch; focal minor staining and foxing; defects described in detail --- this is still a very attractive, bright dustcover, not price-clipped). The dustcover panels reproduce the color illustrations on the front and rear boards. Scarce. (3214034). F. Hardcover.
