About This Item
Easton MA: Stephen W. & Diane L. Albert. Very Good. 1991. (Vol. 2, No. 56). Magazine. [random ink scribbling at left side of front cover, rear cover has subscriber's address label and an array of vintage postage stamps affixed]. (B&W photographs) Small-format (8-1/2" x 5-1/2") TV collectors' fanzine, with two primary features in this issue: the cover story, a long tribute article about the recently-deceased actor James Franciscus, who starred in several successful TV series during the 1960s and 1970s, incorporating several interviews and quoting from his personal correspondence with the publishers; and a production-history article + episode guide for "Land of the Giants," a fantasy-adventure series created by Irwin Allen that ran for two seasons on ABC (1968-1970). The remainder of the issue is mostly taken up with small ads and news snippets of interest to collectors in this field. NOTE: That's a printed (not original) inscription/signature on the front cover. .
