The rear wrap is is soiled & chipped with a piece out of the left edge. 24 pages. The rear wrap & the two inside wraps are illustrated with color ads for Murad Turkish cigarettes, and cosmetics. There are also numerous pictorial ads illustrated in black & white, articles illustrated with vignettes, and plans of the theatre's gallery and orchestra. There is a chip out of the front edge of the last page & the top page corners are creased. There is a light vertical crease throughout where the program has been folded. Good.
The play, which opened on August 18, 1916, is produced by Winchell Smith and John L. Golden. Among the contents of the program are a chatty "Who's Who" about the cast. There are also articles on women's and men's fashions and numerous advertisements for such items as table water, white kid shoes, women's corsets, automobile tires, henna shampoo, and the New Ziegfeld "Midnight Frolic". A reminder of events out in the world is an appeal for "Our Boys in France Tobacco Fund" -- "Gun Smoke Everywhere / But Not a Whiff of Tobacco Smoke to Cheer a Soldier Up".
